Been using this belt sander/buffer for the past month frequently. So far it does a good job for knife making and wood working. Keep in mind, the platten is higher than most 2x72 belt sander/grinder, I use a step to add a few inches to help.

Jan 18, 2007 · The man did say cheap. I'm still learning to play with my 4x36 Ryobi belt sander ( 125 with extended warranty) but it has really eased cleaning shaping the raw blanks. What's wrong with the one inch sander/grinder I picked up from Harbor Freight ( 28.00)? Both Items come with disc sanders on the sides which allow me to clean burrs and finish .
